Dr. Seth Kofi Abrokwa

Founder & Executive Director

Growing up just a stone’s throw from the location of our current youth hub, I experienced firsthand the challenges and opportunities that shaped my perspective and fueled my program, my dedication is to continue to inspire and drive positive change, making a significant impact on the lives of the youth in Agona Nsaba and its surrounding areas.

In my professional capacity as a medical doctor and researcher, I have seen the critical intersection of health and education in improving lives. With a dedicated team and active community participation, we are creating impactful programs that allow every young person to thrive when given the right support and opportunities.

Richmond Nii Acquaye

Co-founder & Head of Operation

I have a proven track record in construction finance, managing budgets and cash flow for large-scale projects. My experience includes providing valuable financial consultancy to SMEs, helping them streamline their financial operations and achieve growth. I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including agribusiness, demonstrating strong project management skills.

At A Different Life Ghana, I coordinated the construction activities for the Youth Hub, aligning financial goals with our broader social impact objectives.

Sarah Zupancic

Communication & Marketing Lead

Born and raised in France, but having had the chance to study, travel and work abroad, I quickly gained a unique perspective on how life varies across the globe. Throughout my professional and personal journey, I have connected with locals and expats, collaborated with international and diverse teams, immersed myself in opposite cultures, and, most of all, witnessed the transformative power of education wherever I would go.

As a firm believer that education is the key to unlocking better futures for young people, I am thrilled to be part of this journey with A Different Life Ghana. Each contribution can make a difference, and I am committed to using my skills and experiences to create sustainable improvements for the future.

Ibrahim Todiib Gamba

Programs Manager

Growing up in the northern region of Ghana, which is thought to be among the poorest in the nation. I noticed how the youth in these towns do not appear to have the opportunity to navigate their lives in this competitive world, and the detrimental influence it has on them. I’ve always wanted to find a method to create an enabling atmosphere for Ghana’s youth to live an impactful life.

As a program manager, I get to collaborate with our devoted team members to craft out projects that allow the youth of Agona Nsaba and its surrounding areas to organise their lives in a way that will have a stronger positive influence in the future. Working as a program manager, I have come to a personal conclusion that every youth needs an opportunity to thrive as a matter of priority before one can conclude on him or her. This mantra challenges my team, the community and I daily in the hub centre to come up with innovative ideas that create an enabling environment for the youth in Agona Nsaba and it’s surrounding communities.

Jarne Krause

Communication & Marketing Officer

My name is Jarne, and I am studying Business Administration. I work in the marketing department of A Different Life, where my task is to raise awareness of our youth projects while helping to open up new perspectives for young people and create sustainable improvements.

My commitment stems from my belief that education is one of the most important components and the biggest influencing factor for a better future for young people. I look forward to learning and developing myself while supporting the team and our shared vision of youth empowerment as much as possible.

Jennifer Saanuo Chongnuru

Finance & Accounting Officer

All my life, one of things I have wanted is to make an impact wherever I find myself. I also come from the part of Ghana where most of the youth there are less privileged especially when it comes to education. I am happy to be part of the team which makes an impact at Agona Nsaba. I expect this project to expand in the future and we get ot build a similar edifice with a bigger vision for the northern youth.

I am an experienced finance and accounting professional with about 10 years of work experience in various organizations, including Ernst and Young (EY) Ghana, Deliotte Ghana, Impact Hub Accra, SecondSTAX, Africa Foresight Group, and Volkswagen Ghana Limited.

At EY Ghana, I worked as an auditor assisting with financial audits for a bank, insurance company & retail businesses. In my roles at startups and Volkswagen Ghana, I have showcased her skills in finance and administration.

Together we are stronger

We are not the heroes of our story; our local partners and community members in Agona Nsaba are. Through their insights, we’ve developed and executed this program, always involving the community as volunteers or in paid roles.

Our supporters, including godparents, members, and sponsors, are also vital. Over the years, many have joined our cause, fundraising on special occasions and selling custom products, all to amplify our impact.
