Library &
Literacy Centre
The only public library in Agona Nsaba — where every story opens a door to knowledge, opportunity and a brighter future.
A community anchor for learning
In a community where access to books and educational resources is limited, the A Different Life Library & Literacy Centre stands as a vital space for curiosity, growth, and imagination. As the only library serving Agona Nsaba, it welcomes children and young people every week — offering not just books, but structured programmes designed to build knowledge, critical thinking, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Five Ways We Make a Difference
Through five distinct programmes, the Library & Literacy Centre creates meaningful learning experiences for the young people of Agona Nsaba.
Annual Spelling Bee
Students from across Agona Nsaba compete each year in our flagship spelling competition — building vocabulary, confidence, and community pride.
Children’s Parliament
Young voices take centre stage as children debate real community issues, develop civic awareness, and practise democratic values in a structured setting.
Weekend Literacy Boost
Weekend reading and writing sessions give children the extra support they need to strengthen their literacy skills, guided by trained volunteers.
Inspired Screens
Curated film and documentary screenings open young minds to the wider world, sparking conversations and inspiring new ways of thinking.
Green Life
